It's all Good

So we explored our first day through the hood yesterday (Sunday). We all started off the day by waking up way too early (5-6am - greg 2am). We are still on Eastern time so we are waking up a little early. We all woke up early again this morning (Monday). Aaron and I went for a run this morning through the city. It was pretty nice.

As for Yesterday, we attempted our first adventure to a tea house where we joked about them seeing Americans come in (they started to play guns and roses, and britney spears - they saw the blonde on Nicole). We had some tea and fruit (with Ranch Dressing sauce - another "there's Americans"). It was all very good though. We went to the Olympic Venue to check out the Birds Nest and Cube and walk around to the Grocery.

We went to a Korean Grill for Lunch where they served raw meat that you cooked over a grill at your table. We ordered by pointing at the menu at the meats. We had Pork, Beef, and Vegetables. Once all was said and done, it was a really good meal, and only 30 bucks for the 4 of us. We ventured out to Ikea to get some things for the apt (I don't think we'll be hitting that place up again).

Once we got back, we decided to head down to the lobby and get foot massages. It was pretty awesome massage for an hour (and only 13 dollars). Needless to say, it put us to sleep, so we pretty much called it a night.

Today is a Chinese Holiday so we have one more day to explore before it's on to the work week. I can't promise the Blogging will be continuous like this but we've had a lot of down time, so it's been cool. If anyone has Skype, look us up, we all have it here and have been using it. Hope all is well, Take care.
