Busy Bees; 05.15.09

This week was very busy with many different things going on at work. Greg went out of town for business for a few days and Aaron and Nicole were very busy working towards their deadline they have on Monday (by that meaning working way too late into the evening). I was still working hard on drawing sections in such so it’s been a fun week.

Nicole and I met up with Thomas (Denmark friend) for some Indian food on Tuesday evening and ended up finding out we were celebrating his birthday with him! My studio invited me out to dinner on Thursday evening. We ended up going to the “hot pot” restaurant that the 4 of us tried out a few weeks back (and did not enjoy). It’s a traditional Chinese meal where you have a hot pot of broth (different flavors) boiling in front of you and you put your meat and veggies in before taking them out to eat. This time, it was much more enjoyable. The first time, we did not know what to order, so we ordered way too much and did not have enough time to eat it all.

That is pretty much all the excitement of this past work week. We have begun looking into our holiday trip in a few weeks. We are looking at going to Pingyao for the long weekend. We’ve got the hotel booked, now we just have to figure out the Planes, Trains, and Automobiles part…
